Comestibles made ornamental

On display at Purdue Horticulture Gardens, these are familiar vegetables developed for the eye. This is July, as Brassicas are typically cool-season plants it should keep growing into fall, with added color as the days go by.

Ornamental cabbage (Brassica oleracea 'Color Up Mix')
